Our Mission: Rooted in Ephesians 4:12

Our purpose is not of our own making; it is drawn directly from the heart of Scripture. We are guided by the Apostle Paul’s words to the Ephesians, which outline the very reason GOD gifts the church with teaching and encouragement:

“For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” — Ephesians 4:12

These three pillars form the foundation of everything we do at For The PEW:

  • To Perfect the Saints: We aim to move believers beyond a surface-level faith. Through deep theological discussion and scriptural findings, we desire to see disciples matured and equipped to discern truth from error.
  • For the Edifying of the Church: We are not called to walk alone. This community exists to build up the wider body of CHRIST. By sharing hope, faith, and encouragement, we strengthen the bonds of fellowship and remind each other that we are part of something far greater than ourselves.
  • For the Work of the Ministry: We believe that every believer is a minister. Our letters are designed to encourage and prepare you for the good works GOD has prepared for you, whether in your home, your workplace, or your community.

Our Focus: The Direction of the Holy Spirit

We deeply believe that human wisdom can only take us so far. Therefore, the heartbeat of this community is a shared longing for GOD and a complete reliance on the Holy Spirit.

We emphasize the role of the Spirit as the Comforter: the One who walks alongside us in our grief and confusion. And we cherish Him as the Spirit of Truth, who guides us gently into all understanding. Our discussions and letters are not about proclaiming our own insights, but about discerning His direction, together.
