At the beginning of God’s leading, you will find the end of it

Dear Rita,

Many people are discouraged to follow GOD’s Leadership because they seek to see in order to be assured. However what we see when GOD leads is an unmatched wisdom that would make us but also cause our hearts to ache.

GOD leads us through the way HE has set which sometimes we cannot see until we are on it. GOD leads us based on what HE sees which could be a light year ahead and away. HE leads us through the turmoil for the sake of the peace at the end. HE leads us through the anguish for clarity at the end.

At the beginning of GOD’s leading, you will find the end of it, the purpose of it. GOD leads us from the place of a finished process. That means while HE leads us through the journey, HE is instructing us from the place of the conclusion of the journey. To know the end from the beginning is how GOD leads us.

In line with this, should we trust the GOD who knows what would happen before it happens? Yes. However, it also brings to our attention that even though GOD knows we would face difficulties HE leads us through the same path. GOD doesn’t dodge problems because they exist. GOD doesn’t choose easy for our sake. HE could, but HE doesn’t.

I reckon that HIS eternal strength informs that there is no challenge which is greater and no obstacle too steep in difficulty. Sometimes, while GOD leads, HE loves a challenge to remind us that we are not alone. How can you explain that you surmount the greatest evils if you don’t have the power to overcome the little evils except that you have the backing and leading of GOD as you walk on treacherous places.

The vital conclusion is that GOD leads us through the patterns which HE sees to achieve what HE chooses. The same GOD who leads through the Red Sea also leads in the same way through a 40 year wilderness trek. Sometimes, it is a swift action of ‘dead first borns’ and other times, it is all 10 plagues combined. It is not our place to demand a speedy journey or refuse a lengthy walk. If GOD chooses to achieve in an individual – for a lifetime – what HE achieves in another in a day, it is to serve one thing – the actualisation of HIS vision. Our priority should be on the vision we were created to accomplish and not the length by which GOD would go to make it happen.

Eyes on the prize not the price,

Olatunde

Just because you are short doesn’t mean that GOD would not take you on a long journey or ask you to perform tall tasks for HIS Name sake. Rejoice if you require a ladder to fulfil GOD’s instructions. It shows that HE doesn’t let your limits limit your ability to obey HIM.
